Having previously worked for us as a Property Assistant for a decade at our Kirkwall Office until 2013, our Property Manager Shirley Ann rejoined the firm in 2020. At d and h, we offer a comprehensive property service throughout Orkney, Caithness, and Sutherland. We can help make the sale, purchase, or letting of property as smooth as possible and Shirley Ann heads up the property team who makes this possible. With their years of experience, Shirley Ann and the team have been involved with the successful sale, purchase, and letting of many properties across the Highlands and Islands, providing professional trusted advice and support.

With a Level 6 Award in Residential Property Management, Shirley Ann focuses on the Residential Leasing services we provide. At d and h, we recognise that letting your property can be a daunting prospect with lots to think about, but Shirley Ann and the team are able to reduce this hassle for you due to their years of experience and local knowledge. Whether you are a landlord or a tenant, Shirley Ann offers both parties the same high level of service in order to establish an excellent relationship between landlords and tenants.
An Experienced Manager
Shirley Ann is an accomplished manager, whose previous experience includes management within the hospitality industry. Her very first job was in a hotel, starting at the bottom and working her way up into a management position where she developed several skills that have aided in her success as a Property Manager today. In addition to this, Shirley Ann also has an SVQ Level 3 in Business Administration under her belt which has equipped her with the necessary skillset for managing and improving performance within a business environment, as well as core business review and communication skills.
Life Beyond Property Management
Outside of work, Shirley Ann enjoys taking to the water through a variety of sports. Her favourites include paddleboarding, kayaking, and wild swimming. A keen traveller, Shirley Ann’s favourite destination is anywhere in Malaysia but especially the island of Langkawi! Shirley Ann also enjoys spending time outdoors, walking her Cocker Spaniel, Jake, in the forest.
